About Me

John has provided internal decision support for projects and portfolios at ARCO, BP and ARAMCO. Since 2010 he has consulted for Carnarvon, Chesapeake, Concho, DeGolyer & MacNaughton, Hess, Houston Energy, Hyperdynamic, ION, JHI, Laredo, Marathon, Pakistan Petroleum, and Pearl Petroleum in evaluating their subsurface assets. John was the founding director of the Chevron Center of Research Excellence at Texas A&M. There he Spearhead collaborative, multidisciplinary research projects with geoscientists and petroleum engineers from Chevron and other companies to further understand petroleum systems, sedimentary basins, and unconventional petroleum resources.

Although most of the John’s work is confidential, a few recent open publications are available for open debate and discussion.
